This is our first scan.... with 7.5 weeks. It 's difficult to see, but the black banana shape is the gestational sac. The little greyish 'three conecting balls' is the baby and the yolk. The left 'bubble' is the 'yolk sac' (where the baby get's all it's nutrients from before the placenta becomes functionable). The 'bubble' in the middle is the little heart that was beating away. I know it does not seem much and you can't really make out any baby of this, but I get tears to my eyes just looking at it again!Today I scheduled our 12week scan. It will be on march 15th (I'll be 12weeks and 6days)
